tanager — IRC server in Hare

Currently in early development, definitely not usable yet.

We'll aim for single-server only for now; linking servers would be nice but likely requires massive redesigns and I don't even know what S2S topology to use yet.

Dependencies

• Hare
• hare-ev for the event loop
• hare-ds for various data structures (but read the disclaimer/note)

Contributing

Create a branch that begins with contrib/ and push to the main repo via SSH directly.

cd tanager
git checkout -b contrib/whatever
# edit and commit stuff
git push -u origin HEAD

Licensing

Most of this program is licensed under the GNU Affero General Public License, version 3.0 only.

Part of this program are copied from the standard library and Drew DeVault's hare-irc, which are licensed under the Mozilla Public License, version 2.0.
